A team of researchers coordinated by the Development Office is currently carrying out two research projects for the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Information Society and Media.
The purpose of these projects is to better assess the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on economic growth, e-Inclusion and the carbon intensity of European economies. They will showcase the economic benefits and costs that derive from investment in ICT. The researchers will also develop a tool for an easier and better analysis of information society developments and policy simulations.
