The College of Europe e-Learning modules are learner-centered and focused on usability. In less than 1 hour, they provide an interactive, dynamic and intuitive way of improving your knowledge of a given subject, from the basic concepts to a certain degree of specialisation. They are designed to make the learner an active player in the learning process.
An e-Learning module begins with an audio-video introduction by the trainer, offering a more personalised interaction with the teaching faculty; in addition, a preliminary self-assessment test, allows the learner to evaluate his/her knowledge of the topic in the initial stage of the e-Learning session.
The content is then divided several chapters and presented in a dynamic way through different techniques, including texts, visuals, animations and explorations. The concepts are introduced progressively and the interactive techniques are varied to ensure the highest level of concentration and allow the learner to retain the main concepts introduced. Examples and case studies are included to help focus on the practical dimension of the topics.
At the end of the module, a final test allows the learner to evaluate the level of understanding achieved by the end of the module.
The College of Europe e-Learning modules are a comprehensive product offered in pocket-size, but which can be expanded on a tailor-made basis using hypertextual features, and a glossary and literature offering the learner further ways of deepening his/her knowledge of the subject. Their impact goes well beyond their 45-minutes original dimension.
Access is available 24/7; once the course is over, the learning material will remain available for up to one year, so you can easily look back and refresh your memory while deepening your particular interests.
