Travelling to Bruges from Brussels

Bruges is only one hour away from Brussels and can easily be reached by train or car.

By car:

From Brussels National Airport

Take the A201
Close to Brussels continue along: R0
Follow the E40 from Brussels in direction of Gent
Exit 7 Bruges, direction railway station
Leaving the railway station on your right, you are now on the ring of Bruges - follow the direction Katelijnepoort.
On Katelijnestraat, turn right to Dijver
The College main entrance is Dijver 9-11, reception tel. 050-477 111
To the underground parking “Pandereitje”, take the second street on your right and at the end turn left.

From Brussels city centre

Take the E40 from Brussels in direction of Gent
Exit 7 Bruges, direction railway station
Leaving the railway station on your right, you are now on the ring of Bruges - follow the direction Katelijnepoort.
On Katelijnestraat, turn right to Dijver

By train:

From Brussels National Airport

Participants arriving by plane to Brussels National Airport (Zaventem) may buy a train ticket to Bruges at the airport's railway station. The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level -1). Up to 4 trains an hour connect the airport to Brussels (Nord/Noord, Central/Centraal or Midi/Zuid). Take an intercity train in direction of Oostende or Knokke/Blankenberge from any of these three main train stations. Trains run every 30 minutes. From Brussels city centre

In Bruges

By walking from the train station:

The College of Europe, Dijver, is not even 15 minutes walk from the Bruges strain station. (Map of Bruges)

By bus from the train station:

Buses to the centre of Bruges (Centrum) run every few minutes in front of the Bruges train station. The bus ride takes 10 minutes (n°1, n°6, n°11 and n°16 – get off at Wollestraat, 150m from the College of Europe. (Map of Bruges)

By taxi from the train station:

Taxis are available in front of the Bruges train station. A taxi ride from the train station to the College costs approximately 7,5 €. If none available call taxi Ronny at +32 (0) 50 333 881.
