What is the Advanced EU Law Training Programme?

The Advanced EU Law Training programme is the College of Europe’s answer to the need of legal professionals for a more interactive and flexible training, and a practice-oriented approach reconstituting real-life professional situations through case studies and practical exercises.


The Advanced EU Law training programme provides its participant with a professional guide to EU law and Practice and essential tools to develop professional skills necessary to master legal complexities and overcome challenges at work.


The seminar has been designed for experienced legal practitioners. Structurally, the programme consists of one module focusing on EU institutional matters, followed by two elective modules offering a specialization either in the field of Internal Market or Competition Law. Participants are free to register for the specialization module most adapted to their professional interests.


Through detailed case studies and in-depth legal analysis, this interactive programme aims to provide professionals with an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of EU law, focusing on practical aspects as well as substantive law.

 

High level experienced professionals lead participants through a curriculum based on the latest developments and trends of EU law.


Which methodology is used?

Using a variety of effective methodologies, course structures and a “learning-by-doing” approach confronting theory with practice, this training programme offers realistic simulations and role plays adapted to the participants’ professional positions to bridge the gap between classroom learning and performance on the job.
