EU Fact Finding – The EU at your Fingertips
Brussels, Belgium
Autumn course: Friday, 8 October 2010 (9:00-13:00 h)
What is the EU Fact Finding Workshop?
EU Fact Finding is a focused half-day workshop in which participants learn how to find their way through the ‘jungle’ of EU-related websites. An experienced trainer will guide them using an interactive PowerPoint Presentation made available to all participants during and after the workshop.
The course has been organised since 2005 as part of the
Development Office’s professional training courses on EU affairs.
Why participate?
The workshop is targeted at professionals working on European affairs and representing the public and private sectors, civil society and academia.
After this hands-on crash course, you will be able to quickly and effectively find relevant information on EU legislation, policies and institutions.
The programme will offer you the possibility to:
- improve, extend and update your knowledge and understanding of the EU.
- strengthen your professional skills through the numerous practical exercises.
- enjoy a unique opportunity to learn in a multicultural atmosphere and extend your personal and professional network.
What our trainer says:
"People looking for information on the EU are interested in this course because I teach them how to find all the information they are searching for in one click. I explain how to find the information in an efficient way, and I continuously review my presentation according to changes in the ‘Europa’ portal. The workshop is always as interactive as possible."
