Venue

The seminar will take place at the College of Europe Bruges campus in Belgium.

Facilities

Lecture rooms: All lecture rooms are situated in the main building of the College in the town centre, a stone’s throw away from the residences. They are fully equipped with modern teaching facilities.

Computer room: Participants get full access to the College computer room which boasts some 25 fast-network computers. All computers are also connected to the online library catalogue and available electronic information resources.

Library: Participants have the chance to visit the College of Europe's Library including a specialised European Documentation Centre. The library has long opening hours.

College restaurant: Lunches and dinners will be served at the College's restaurant situated only 5 minutes away from the main building. The registration fee covers full board including meals during the visits in Brussels.

Accommodation

All participants will be offered a single room in one of the College of Europe's residences in the historic city centre of Bruges. All rooms are designed comfortably and equipped with essential facilities including private bathrooms, free internet connection (wireless connection available, provided that participants bring their personal laptop). We would like to remind that the room provided by the College of Europe is a single room with a single bed. Only one person will be allowed to stay per room. Cleaning service is available daily. Towels and sheets will be provided in the rooms. The residences also offer self-laundry facilities (washing machine and iron available, no washing powder), lounges for common use as well as dining rooms where buffet breakfast is served.  

Parking

The College of Europe does not offer parking facilities. In addition, car circulation is discouraged in the inner city of Bruges as well as parking places are scarce and strictly limited. The best option is to park your car at the Bruges train station and take a taxi from there to your residence. In case you prefer to drive first to your residence, we are at your disposal to provide you with directions and further information.
