How to Apply?
Applications are made exclusively through the online application form and must be submitted before Tuesday 24 April 2012 at 23h59 C.E.T. Please follow the instructions on the form. In addition, please note that each applicant is required to indicate two referees, their details and valid e-mail addresses. Please consult the selection procedure below for further guidance, and have in mind that closer to the deadline the application system may get slower.

Selection procedure:
After the deadline, the applications will be evaluated by a selection committee composed of members of the TRANSFUSE Association, the College of Europe and the European Fund for the Balkans.

A pre-selection will be conducted on the basis of the online applications and 90 candidates will be pre-selected.

In early June 2012, the Programme Team will contact by email the 90 pre-selected candidates and the referees indicated in the application forms. The referees will be asked to submit their reference letter online, following the link that will be indicated in the email, for the final stage of the selection process. Scanned or e-mailed references will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of the candidate to make sure that her/his referees do submit their reference letter by the deadline (Wednesday 13 June 2012).

N.B.: The referees play a crucial role in the selection process and candidates should therefore pay attention in their choice for referees (relevance for this programme, ability of the persons to submit the online reference letter within a deadline of two weeks, etc.). Referees can be connected to the candidate from her/his studies, (voluntary) work, etc., but should not be directly related to the candidate (e.g. family).

The final selection will take into account the candidates’ applications, as well as the reference letters. It will be conducted by a panel composed of the representatives of the organisers, the Academic Dean.

The selected candidates will be notified of the results by e-mail during the first week of July 2012. The candidates will need to confirm their participation within a week of receiving the notice. Failure to do so may result in removal from the list of candidates and the place being offered to another candidate from the reserve list.
