On Monday 16 November 2020 (16h30-18h00 CET), Michael MEHLING gave a lecture at the College of Europe on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. He discussed the advantages and drawbacks of Carbon Border Adjustments, such as the recently proposed Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, proposed under the Green Deal.

Michael MEHLING is Deputy Director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEPR) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a research scientist with the MIT Energy Initiative (MITei), and a Visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde.
