On Wednesday 22 April, the College of Europe in Natolin organised a meeting with the best-selling author Mr Roger MOORHOUSE, Visiting Professor in the European Interdisciplinary Studies Department.

Mr MOORHOUSE is the author of several acclaimed books on German, Polish and Soviet history. The most recent is First to Fight: The Polish War 1939 (London: Bodley Head, 2019), which has challenged several myths about that first act of the Second World War in Europe.

The event was organised in the framework of the Meet the Authors series, in cooperation with the European Civilization Chair and the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair.  These meetings enable students and other participants to meet important authors in various disciplines on a more informal basis than is possible with a special lecture, with time for discussion.

The conversation was moderated by Professor Richard BUTTERWICK-PAWLIKOWSKI, the Chairholder of the European Civilization Chair at the College of Europe in Natolin.

More information about Mr MOORHOUSE is available here.
