On 25 January 2018, the College of Europe Natolin campus had the pleasure to host Professor Simon DIXON of the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES). Professor DIXON delivered a lecture on "The Failure of Counter-Revolution in Russia". This is part of the cycle of centenary-related events under the heading "Breaking Empires, Making Nations?" which started with the 2015 conference on the First World War.

Professor Simon DIXON holds the Sir Bernard Pares Chair of Russian History at UCL-SSEES. He is an historian of imperial Russia interested in politics, culture and society.
