Dr Frank UMBACH, Research Director at the European Centre for Energy and Resource Security (King's College, London) and Senior Associate and Head of the Programme "International Energy Security" at the Centre for European Security Strategies (Munich) gave a lecture on energy security and the Baltic States at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe.

     

The purpose of this lecture was to prepare students for a panel on energy policy organized in the framework of this promotion’s study trip to the Baltic States. Dr UMBACH’s presentation was entitled "Baltic and EU Energy Security in the Wake of the Russian-Ukraine Conflict". It addressed both the Baltic States' and the EU’s concerns on energy security in the light of the current geopolitical context.
