On 15 November 2020, students at the College of Europe in Natolin had the unique opportunity to listen to and participate in a panel discussion featuring two journalists from leading news media organizations.

"Challenges for today’s news journalists"

The panel featured input from Ms Joanna PLUCIŃSKA, Polish correspondent for Reuters, and Ms Annabelle CHAPMAN, a journalist based in Warsaw writing for The Economist and Monocle. The panel was moderated by Mr Adam REICHARDT, Editor-in-chief of New Eastern Europe.

The two journalists provided students with their perspectives on being a journalist in today’s tumultuous media environment. Students had the opportunity to hear their stories on how they became journalists and ask questions about the experiences that shaped them throughout their careers. The panel discussion took place under the Chatham House Rule and was off the record.
