The French National Day at the Natolin campus

On Saturday, 16 February 2019, the French National Day was organized at the Natolin campus. The students could participate in several different activities during the day.

They were invited to try a wide selection of French wines and cheeses. French students organizing the activity were there to give some tips on how to taste each product in order to grasp its specificity and to learn more about its production process.

During the day, a conference was organised with distinguished guests from the Embassy of France in Poland: Mr Mathieu Carmona (First Counsellor), Ms Monika Breitkopf (Head of Cabinet) and Mr Georges Diener (Counsellor for Cooperation, Cultural and Scientific Affairs). The conference specifically dealt with bilateral relations between France and Poland, as well as with the 2019 French-Polish Scientific Year.

The students also had the occasion to enjoy a spectacle of improvisational theatre in French: the society "Improvisation Théâtrale" of the Manuel Marín Promotion gave their first public performance of the year. Finally, there was also a fair with stands featuring games related to French culture, such as a quiz on French history, impressions of French celebrities, a French hangman game, pétanque and many more!
