On the evening of 21 September 2017, staff of the European Civilization Chair met with students interested in history to discuss the establishment of a Natolin Historical Society for the 2017/18 Simone Veil promotion. After an introduction by Professor Richard BUTTERWICK-PAWLIKOWSKI, students and staff spoke of their interests in history, and exchanged views and experiences over tea and coffee.
Among the possible activities for the society, supported by the Chair and the campus, will be museum visits in Warsaw and elsewhere in Poland; debates; discussions of key texts of the twentieth century; and support for academic publications by students.
