Natolin students visit the Wilanów Palace

On 25 October 2019, Natolin students had a chance to discover the centuries-long history and grandeur of the Wilanów Palace, a Baroque residence of King Jan Sobieski III that has survived through Poland’s partitions and both World Wars until the present day.

Organized by the Natolin Historical Society, a guided tour from the White Hall to the Paintings Gallery took students on a journey through Wilanów’s history from the last quarter of the 17th century until the events of World War II, with the unique Polish tradition and European culture lying at the core of the palace’s most valuable, extraordinary and beautiful works of art.
