Panel discussion on "Reproductive Rights in Europe: Evolutions and Perspectives" by the Women’s Rights Watch Society

On Wednesday 27 February 2019, the Women’s Rights Watch Society organised a panel discussion on "Reproductive Rights in Europe: Evolutions and Perspectives".

We had the pleasure to welcome Barbara NOWACKA, Polish politician and activist who led the citizen initiative in Poland asking for the liberalization of abortion laws, along with Krystyna KACPURA, the executive director of the Federation for Women and Family Planning in Warsaw. With them, the researcher Dr Agata IGNACIUK gave us a historical approach of the evolution of reproductive rights in Europe, as well as Marzia SULTANA who allowed us to have a comparison with the striking situation in South East Asia, especially in Bangladesh. This event was moderated by Solène GASTAL, head of the Women’s Rights Watch Society
