A delegation of the College of Europe visited Istanbul in order to participate in the Turkish selection committee

A delegation of the College of Europe, consisting of the Rector, Professor Paul Demaret, the Director of Studies of the Department of European Interdisciplinary Studies, Professor Erwan Lannon, and the senior academic assistant of the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies, Ms Anne-Claire Marangoni, visited Istanbul on 11-12 June 2010.

They participated in the Turkish selection committee, interviewing 40 students preselected out of 85 candidates. A partnership had been established between the General Secretariat for EU affairs and large companies to finance 13 scholarships.

The Rector announced the creation of an additional scholarship for a student admitted to the Natolin campus. On Saturday 13th, the Rector and Minister for EU Affairs and Chief negotiator Egemin Bagis gave a press conference with the 14 scholars.
