Mr Milinkevich is the winner of the 2006 Sakharov Prize awarded by the European Parliament.

Pilot Course on the European Union at MGIMO – the Moscow State Institute of Foreign Relations takes place in the framework of an on-going project with the European Commission and the Russian Government aiming at building up an Institute for European Studies in Moscow.

The new American Ambassador to the EU,
C. Boyden Gray, spoke to the students in Bruges about his first experiences in the position and answered student’s questions on a range of topics relating to the transatlantic relationship. Ambassador Gray is the second ambassador invited to the College in the framework of Professor Wayne C. Thompson's course on ‘The Transatlantic Link’. Canadian Ambassador to the EU Jeremy Kinsman addressed the students at the College on March 22.
