High-level video lecture on climate action by Professor Dieter HELM

On Wednesday, 10 October 2018, Natolin students had yet another opportunity to discuss energy- and climate change-related topics with a top expert in the area.

Dieter HELM is a professor at the University of Oxford, a published author and an economist who specialises in utilities, energy infrastructure, regulation and the environment. In his lecture, he enlightened students on an array of topics ranging from the current trends on commodity markets, digitalisation and technical change, storage and batteries, to the most pressing issues such as climate change.

Professor HELM inevitably discussed the geopolitics affecting the global and European energy markets and development. Despite the complexity of the topics, the professor was pleased with the insightful questions and the level of knowledge of the students.
