Implementation of the EU Project "EU Policy and Outreach Partnership in South America" in 2020 and 2021

The College of Europe is proud to announce that it will be implementing the European Union-funded project "EU Policy and Outreach Partnership in South America - Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile" in consortium with the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) and Equinoccio for a two-year period (2020-2021).

The College of Europe has been involved in the implementation of previous phases of the contract since 2017. In this new phase, the College will be in charge of the development and implementation of a series of training courses on the European Union in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay; more specifically:

  • Two editions of diplomatic training courses (one per year) for the diplomatic academies in each country;
  • A series of short executive courses for journalists, academia, diplomats, officials and representatives of the private sector.

The project aims at enhancing widespread understanding and visibility of the EU and its role on the world scene, raising awareness of the EU’s foreign policy goals and strengthening EU engagement in priority areas with opinion-makers and key target groups.
