We are proud to announce that the third phase of the EU-funded project "European Resources for Mediation Support – ERMES III" was awarded to a consortium led by the College of Europe.

In today’s world, where conflict is still present in a variety of forms, the EU’s role in facilitating and supporting mediation and dialogue processes is key. Thus, by building on the previous two phases, ERMES III aims at facilitating the EU’s support to third parties engaged in inclusive peace mediation and dialogue processes at the international, regional or local levels. This will be undertaken through, inter alia, the provision of technical expertise and the organization and facilitation of training seminars, meetings, and events.

The project will last three years and is implemented under the supervision of the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments of the European Commission in close consultation with the Mediation Support Team of the European External Action Service, which will ensure the political steer.

The consortium led by the College of Europe Development Office includes leading organizations specialized in mediation and dialogue: the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES), ESSEC IRENÉ, Fondation Hirondelle, Interpeace, and MediatEUr.

We look forward to the collaboration.
