The opening ceremony of the academic year of the College of Europe, Bruges campus, took place on 4 October 1982.
Gaston E. THORN, President of the Commission of the European Communities, delivered the opening address to the students of the Joseph BECH Promotion, professors, staff and invited guests of the College of Europe.
