The opening ceremony of the academic year of the College of Europe, Bruges campus, took place on 30 September 1981.
Bruno KREISKY, Federal Chancellor of Austria, delivered the opening address to the students of the Johan Willem BEYEN Promotion, professors, staff and invited guests of the College of Europe.
