New textbook on EU trade policy

Sieglinde GSTÖHL, Director of the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies at the College of Europe, and Dirk DE BIÈVRE, Associate Professor of International Politics at the University of Antwerp, have published a much awaited textbook on The Trade Policy of the European Union in Palgrave’s The European Union Series. The EU is the world’s largest trading entity and donor of official development aid, and its Common Commercial Policy is one of the oldest and most integrated common policies. This accessible new book provides the first comprehensive assessment of EU trade policy, its relationship to other policies, and of the EU’s multilevel policy-making and international bargaining in this area. It is particularly suitable for postgraduate students but equally of interest to a wider public.
