Former vice-president of the Dutch-Flemish Academy for Management, founding member and secretary of the Flemish Strategy Society, and member of the advisory board of the European Foundation for Business Qualification. Member of the editorial board of several journals.
Ph.D. in educational sciences and MBA from Ghent University (Belgium).
Publications: several articles, mainly on CSR in scientific journals, five Dutch books on strategic management and a co-editor of several English volumes on competence-based strategy theory; co-editor of “Research in Competence Based Management”, a new serials published from 2005 on.
Research fields: strategic management theory; (competence-based) management in private and public organizations.
