Alan Hervé is Doctor in Law. His PHD, defended on November 2011 at the Université de Rennes I (France) is about “The European Union and the Judicialization of the Dispute Settlement Mechanism of the World Trade Organization (WTO)”. His PHD obtained the Very Honorable mention and unanimous congratulation from the jury members, composed by acadamics and practicioners of the WTO.

During his PHD, Alan Hervé did traineeships with the French Delegation to the WTO (Geneva) and the French Representation to the European Union (Brussels).

Former Teatching Assistant at the Université de Rennes 1, Alan Hervé taught and animated tutorials on European Union law, international economic law and public law (both constitutional and administrative law).

Alan Hervé published several articles in peer reviews, both in French and English, on the EU trade policy, the WTO and the question of the EU representation in international organizations. He contributes to a semester review and a yearbook on the legal dimension of EU external relations.
