
Alessio Aresu is an Academic Assistant in the Legal Studies Department of the College of Europe, Bruges, in charge of the specialization in European Law and Economic Analysis (ELEA). His research concerns, inter alia, private enforcement of competition law, parallel trade, EC competition law and intellectual property, competition and regulation in network industries. He holds a BSc and MSc in law from Bocconi University, Milan, and an LL.M. from the College of Europe, Bruges (ELEA specialization), where he was awarded a Rafael Sanz Rodriguez memorial prize for the best theses in the Legal Studies Department. He completed a stage with the DG COMP of the European Commission, and gained experience in competition law practice in a Brussels law firm.
