Enzo MOAVERO MILANESI, lawyer, specialization in antitrust law, is currently judge at the EC Court of first instance. Until the end of April 2006, he was Director General of the Bureau of European Policy Advisors of the European Commission; and between 2002 and 2005, he was Deputy Secretary General at the European Commission. He was previously: Director in the Antitrust Service (2000-2001), Head of Cabinet of the member of the European Commission in charge of Competition (1999-2000) and Head of Cabinet of the Commissioner in charge of Single market, financial services and taxation (1995-1999). Between 1993 and 1995, by the Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri in Rome, he acted as adviser for privatizations and for Community Affairs of the Italian Prime Minister. Between 1990 and 1992, was Head of Cabinet of the Vice President of the European Commission in charge of Telecommunications and Research. Author of several articles on scientific law review and of three books (one on merger regulation, one on Community law and policies, and one on EU competition law).
