He previously worked in a law firm and at the Office of the Committee for European Integration, advising to the Secretary of State inter alia in the field of EU external relations, EU climate change and the law of the Internal Market.

Currently, Jan is a PhD candidate at Adam Mickiewicz University, Faculty of Law and Administration, Chair of European Law, focusing on the EU competition law.
