Justin Greenwood is Professor of European Public Policy at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK. His career research specialism is EU interest representation, including his single authored book 'Interest Representation in the EU' (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011, 3rd edtn), launched at an event in Brussels by European Commission Vice President Marčoš Šefčovič. His recent journal articles include analysis of the (European) Transparency Register published in Comparative European Politics (9, 3, 2011, pp317-343), and of the Brussels offices of the Regions in the Journal of European Integration (37, 2, 2011, pp333-357).

His research has been funded by, inter alia, the European Commission and the British Academy. He has been engaged as expert witness by the UK Neill Committee on Standards in Public Life and the European Economic and Social Committee, was inivited as an expert presenter by the European Parliament for a hearing on EU lobbying, and has delivered training on ‘Networking and Lobbying’ as part of the European Commission’s internal Diplomatic Training Path, and the MGIMO European Studies Institute in Moscow for Russian civil servants.

He has supervised 10 PhD students through to completion, and has served as a member of assessment panels for the UK Economic and Social Research Council for PhD training recognition schemes. Three of his former College Masters students are currently undertaking a PhD under his supervision.
