Laure Delcour

Laure Delcour (FR) holds a BA in History from Paris IV-Sorbonne as well as an MA and a PhD in Political Science from Sciences-Po Paris. She has been a Senior Research Fellow on Russia and the post-Soviet area at the Institute of International and Strategic Relations (IRIS) in Paris since 2007 (Associate Fellow since 2009). In 2009 she joined the Directorate of European Affairs of the French School of Administration (ENA). She has lectured on EU institutions and decision-making, the European Neighbourhood Policy and Russia's foreign policy at Sciences-Po Paris (2001-2009). She was previously a Deputy Director of the French-Russian Centre in Social Sciences in Moscow (French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Research, 2002-2003). Since 2003 she has also participated in a number of studies and assignments for the European Commission, the European Parliament and the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence.

Laure Delcour’s research interests focus on the EU’s policy with regard to the ex-USSR, in particular the EU-Russia partnership, and on the European Neighbourhood Policy, more specifically on reception and implementation by partner countries as well as on region-building aspects. She currently coordinates, with Dr. Kataryna Wolczuk, a research project to explore the EU's role in domestic change in the Eastern neighbourhood (www.euimpacteast.org).
