Academic Assistant of the European General Studies programme since August 2007.

Graduated from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (graduated in Political and Administrative Sciences 2001-2006), from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Strasbourg (Certificat d’Etudes Politiques Européennes 2004-2005) and the College of Europe (European Interdisciplinary Studies, Copernicus promotion 2006-2007).

Luis is currently preparing a PhD on the role of European civil society organisations in debates on participatory democracy in the European Union.

Areas of interest : public spaces and public opinion in Europe, relations between European Civil Society and the EU institution, interest representation and lobbying, Eastern Europe and Russia
