María Quesada (ES) is Academic Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges, Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies, since August 2010.

She holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges (2008), a degree in Law from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (2007), as well as a degree in Law from the Universidad Complutense Madrid (2007).

Previous work experience in the Permanent Representation of Spain to the EU during the 2010 Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU; in DG RELEX of the European Commission; in the OSCE Mission in Kosovo as well as in the Spanish Parliament.

Fields of interest: international law, Justice and Home Affairs, EU CSDP, international development.
