Marc Schelhase (DE) is a lecturer in the Defence Studies Department, King's College London, and at the United Kingdom's Joint Services Command and Staff College in Shrivenham, where he has designed and is currently teaching an MA option in Risk and Risk Analysis in Defence Studies.
He has previously taught courses in International Relations and political economy at the University of Warwick and political risk analysis at the University of Birmingham. Marc Schelhase is also a member of the Open World Initiative of the Evian Group. He holds a BA and an MA in International Relations from the University of Keele and a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick.
Marc Schelhase is currently working on a new research project on exploring the nexus between political economy and critical security studies through the concept of risk. The project compares and contrasts two case studies, namely risk in defence procurement and risk in financial markets.
