
Michèle Godaux (BE) is visiting language professor for French at the College of Europe. She taught French at the European Commission for thirteen years and also prepared European staff for oral and written competitions. In the course of her career Michèle Godaux has taught in the United States, Portugal and Brazil, where she gave courses of French as a Foreign Language from primary to university level over a period of seventeen years. Michèle Godaux holds an MA in Romance Languages and Literature (Licenciée en Philosophie et Lettres) from the Université Libre de Bruxelles as well as a teaching qualification (Agrégation de l’Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur).
Michèle Godaux co-authored a practice book on administrative vocabulary for European civil servants (Cahier d’exercices de vocabulaire administratif à l’intention des fonctionnaires européens). In 2003, she contributed to the writing of a French survival course, Cours de survie (niveaux 1 et 2), for civil servants from the new Member States.
