TOTAL Chair of EU Foreign Policy

Thanks to the financial support of TOTAL, the College of Europe has established a Chair in the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies, focusing on the European Union’s foreign policy. The mission of the Chair is to promote education and research on the foreign policy of the EU by organising conferences and producing academic publications. The Chairholder offers a course and supervises theses in the Master’s programme EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies. » more information

EP Geremek European Civilisation Chair

Thanks to the support of the European Union, and in particular the European Parliament, the Natolin Campus of the College of Europe in Warsaw created the EP Geremek European Civilization Chair in memory of Professor Bronisław GEREMEK †. The mission of the Chair is to focus on recent European history, and more particularly “Europe in the 20th century: from division to reunification”. This is in keeping with Professor Geremek’s personal history and specifically, the role he played in Poland and in Europe both before and after the fall of Communism. » more information

Fulbright-Schuman Chair in US-EU Relations

The Fulbright Schuman Programme funds the Chair in US-EU Relations at the College of Europe in Bruges. This ten-month fellowship allows the grantee to pursue independent research in one semester. In the other semester, he/she will lead a course in the framework of a Master's programme to a very select and international group of postgraduate students. This course will help promote the students' understanding of relations between the US and the EU.  » more information

UNESCO Chair for the Right to Education

The UNESCO Chair for the Right to Education involves the annual organisation of an international and comparative training programme, of two weeks' duration, focusing on the Right to Education and the Rights of Education in the world, as well as the organisation of seminars and conferences. The Chairholder is Professor Jan DE GROOF.
