ENP scholarships from the European Union for graduates coming from EU Member States
Thanks to the European Union the College of Europe can offer full scholarships (academic year 2013-2014) to candidates from EU Member States who demonstrate a specific interest for the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). These scholarships are in principle limited to one or two per Member State.
The beneficiaries of these EU-ENP scholarships will be selected by the College of Europe once the selection procedures organised at the level of a Member State, a region or the College are completed.
Thus only those candidates can apply for these EU-ENP scholarships who have already been invited for an interview after having been preselected on the basis of their dossier in the course of a selection procedure organised at the level of a Member State, a region or the College.
Before the interview takes place, the candidates for a EU-ENP scholarship must send a letter of motivation (of maximum 2 pages) to the Admissions Office of the College of Europe (admissions [at] coleurope [dot] eu), explaining why he or she is interested in the European Neighbourhood Policy. During the interview, the candidates must also hand in a copy of the motivation letter.
The EU-ENP scholarships will be awarded (one to two per Member State) according to the ranking of the candidates following the normal selection procedure and the interest they will have demonstrated for the European Neighbourhood Policy.
Beneficiaries of these EU-ENP scholarships will have to write their Master’s thesis on a topic related to the European Neighbourhood Policy. They will also have to follow a course or seminar dealing with the European Neighbourhood Policy as part of their respective study programmes in Bruges.
