In addition to the regular academic programme, the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies organises several extracurricular academic activities:
- Conferences and guest lectures on a broad range of topics related to the EU’s external relations are organised throughout the academic year.
- The Department offers to its students a three-day study trip to Geneva, the European centre for multilateral diplomacy.
- Every year, a group of students from the Department has the opportunity to participate in a Model United Nations (MUN) competition in addition to their regular coursework.
- Occasionally the Department invites alumni to participate in a round table discussion with the current students, to help them find out more about life after the College and to offer advice on potential fields of employment.
