Going beyond traditional training courses, the programmes are not limited to lectures but also include interactive debates, hands-on workshops and sessions to exchange experience and expertise. In addition, participants get exclusive access to the European Documentation Centres and Library, one of the world’s largest information centres on the EU. Together with high-level networking possibilities in a unique setting, the training courses offer a genuinely European experience.
The content of the training sessions can range from a basic general overview of the EU and its institutions to more practical or technical training modules covering for example EU negotiation skills.
The organisation is in the hands of a team of Project Managers and Assistants at the Development Office who are backed up by the College of Europe's Academic Departments and renowned Visiting Faculty. The organising team takes care of the programme, course materials, accommodation arrangements and social activities in Bruges and Brussels.
