Lorenzo COPPI

Lorenzo Coppi, Director at Compass Lexecon, has over fourteen years of experience in the practical application of antitrust economics, regulation, applied industrial organization, and game theory.

Having spent a number of years practicing in London and Washington, Dr. Coppi has worked on a variety of EU, US, and UK mergers as well as on cases involving various allegations of anticompetitive practices under EU, US, and UK competition law, in litigation and regulatory settings.

Dr Coppi’s analytic focus has been on market definition, assessment of market power, merger analysis, abusive pricing practices, the market impact of cartels, and State aid. His sector expertise includes various high technology industries, media, telecommunications, chemicals, retailing, financial markets, and other manufacturing and consumer good industries.

Dr. Coppi holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, has published several articles in the field of antirust economics and is a frequent speaker at competition conferences and seminars.
