Mikel Ayala is currently the Chief Growth Officer of Atani, a global fintech platform for crypto traders and investors. Previously, he was a member of the executive leadership team at The Cocktail, an international innovation and digital transformation firm that designs, builds and operates digital services, products and businesses. He started his career as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was a lead member of the Financial Institutions practice.
Mr. Ayala brings extensive experience partnering with leading financial institutions, technology companies and start-ups across Europe and the Americas. He has been actively involved in the innovation ecosystem, both as an operator and as an advisor supporting corporates in their scouting, partnership development, venture building and acquisition efforts.
Mr. Ayala holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE and is a mentor at the MBA programme of Instituto de Empresa Business School.
