Quentin Weiler (FR) is Head of the Political Section/Deputy Head of Delegation at the European Union Delegation to Chile. Previously, he was Coordinator of the Office of the Secretary General of the European External Action Service (EEAS) Helga Schmid (2016-19). His previous positions included Political Advisor to the Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs of the EEAS (2015-16), Head of Office of the Head of Delegation at the EU Delegation to Pakistan (2013-15), Deputy European Correspondent in the Office of the Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs of the EEAS (2011-13), Policy Officer for Conventional Disarmament and Non-Proliferation at the Directorate-General for External Relations of the European Commission (2009-10) and Coordinator at the French Representation to the Political and Security Committee (2008-09).

Quentin Weiler is also visiting professor at the Barcelona Institute for International Relations. He holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges (2008), an MA in European Studies from the Faculty of Law of Lille 2 (2007) and a diploma in International Relations from the Institute of Political Science of Lille (2002-07). He has published articles on the EU as a foreign policy actor.
