GREVI G. - EU Foreign Policy : Context and Priorities (30h)

Professor Giovanni GREVI

The course offers both a general introduction and a more in-depth approach to the way in which the EU operates in international affairs. It is meant to provide a comprehensive historical overview, a broad assessment of the main theoretical approaches in the academic literature, and a balanced analysis of the major issues involved. It also aims to stimulate the students to address specific themes related to institutional or geographical aspects of EU Foreign Policy (EUFP) while giving them a "flavour" of how policy is actually made in Brussels.
