David Cadier (FR) is an Assistant Professor of European Politics in Global Perspective at the University of Groningen. Previously, he was a Researcher at Sciences Po’s Centre for International Studies (2018-2021) and a Teaching Fellow in International Strategy and Diplomacy at the London School of Economics (2012-2015). He has also held visiting positions at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston, the Prague Institute for International Relations, SAIS Johns Hopkins University in Washington, the Polish Institute of International Affairs in Warsaw, and the Finnish Institute of International Affairs in Helsinki. His research interests include Foreign Policy Analysis, EU-Russia Relations, Central Europe, and the foreign policies of populist governments. He obtained his PhD from Sciences Po Paris.
