Conference on "The Implications of the Financial Crisis"

This conference looks at the recent financial crisis and how it will impact various aspects of European policy.

The first session looks at the macroeconomic and financial implications of the crisis, including the suitability of the current EU governance system for dealing with such a crisis.

The following session considers the implications from a broader economic perspective, including its impact on trade, environmental, climate change and competition policy.

The concluding session examines the crisis from the viewpoints of security and foreign policy. This event is open to the public.
