Enhancing awareness and understanding of the EU's competition law and procedures in Asia

Since 2013, the College of Europe has been in charge of the organization and delivery of the Competition Summer Schools (CSSs) for Chinese officials in the framework of several EU-funded projects. This year we are pleased to announce that for the first time, the College of Europe organized, in parallel, three Competition Summer Schools in EU Competition Law for the competition authorities of China, India, Korea, Japan and ASEAN countries. The CSSs are organized in the framework of the five-year EU-funded project:  EU-Asia Competition Policy Cooperation.

The Competition Summer Schools took place from 2 to 20 July 2018. They included interactive lectures on a range of EU competition law issues, with training sessions focusing on cases relevant to the Asian Competition Authorities.
