In the framework of the Falcone - Borsellino Series, students will have the opportunity to discuss the crucial issue of the fight against organized crime with Mrs Rita BORSELLINO and a representantive of Libera Association.

Mrs Rita BORSELLINO is the sister of Paolo BORSELLINO and one of the most popular anti-mafia activists in Sicily. She was a Member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2014 and she is one of the founders of "Libera. Associations, names and numbers against mafias".

Libera is a network of more than 1,200 associations, groups and schools, committed to build up organizational synergies capable of promoting a culture of lawfulness. In 2012, The Global Journal has included Libera in the list of the top 100 NGOs in the world.
