In the framework of the Falcone - Borsellino Series, students will have the opportunity to discuss the crucial issue of the fight against organized crime with Mrs Rita BORSELLINO and a representantive of Libera Association.

Mrs Rita BORSELLINO is the sister of Paolo BORSELLINO and one of the most popular anti-mafia activists in Sicily. She was a Member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2014 and she is one of the founders of "Libera. Associations, names and numbers against mafias".

Libera is a network of more than 1,200 associations, groups and schools, committed to build up organizational synergies capable of promoting a culture of lawfulness. In 2012, The Global Journal has included Libera in the list of the top 100 NGOs in the world.

Mrs Rita BORSELLINO and an exponent of Libera will join us for an open discussion on the role of the institutions and associations in the fight against organized crime.
