
On Monday 18 February 2019, Professor Mateusz GROCHOWSKI gave a special lecture at the College of Europe in Natolin entitled "Digital Single Market: Policy Debates and Legislative Prospects".
The lecture was part of a preparatory lecture series for the Manuel Marín Promotion students participating in the second semester study trip to Brussels and Luxembourg. Professor Mateusz GROCHOWSKI completed his PhD at the Polish Academy of Sciences and his LLM at Yale Law School. He has been working in the Supreme Court of Poland, and currently he is a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Tel Aviv. In his research he focuses on private law and its intersections with new technologies, in particular self-regulation and the use of big data in market dealings. He is a member of the European Law Institute working group, which prepares model rules on online intermediary platforms.
