Le 14 janvier 2013, la Chaire de la Politique européenne de Voisinage a organisé une table ronde intitulée « The EU and the Arab Spring. Promoting Democracy and Human Rights in the EU's Southern Neighbourhood » au campus de Natolin du Collège d'Europe. 

Marquant le second anniversaire de la chute de l‘ex-Président tunisien M. Zine el-Abidine BEN ALI, cette table ronde a réuni des experts et des universitaires qui ont débattu le potentiel et les risques résultant des politiques européennes pour le voisinage sud dans leur état actuel et les perspectives d’avenir.
