College of Europe presentation in Madrid

On 22 November 2017, the College of Europe made a presentation to a group of highly motivated students as well as to professors of various universities from all over Spain at the European Parliament Office in Madrid.  

The aim was to explain its various programmes, the numerous support structures, student life and the application process, as well as showcasing some of the numerous possible career paths one can embark on after graduating from this prestigious institute. 

The event was a big success thanks to the support of the European Parliament Office in Madrid, the interesting presentations by the members of staff of the College of Europe and the inspiring testimonials by our alumni.

• Welcome address by Mrs Maria ANDRES, Director of the European Parliament Office in Madrid;
• Professor Luis BOUZA, Academic Coordinator of the European General Studies Programme — Presentation of the academic programmes;
• Mrs Angela O'NEILL, Director of Communications and Director of Languages — Presentation of the skills trainings at the College of Europe, as well as the language learning possibilities and the richness of the alumni network;
• Mrs Olivia TAVEIRNE, Head of Student Affairs and Communications Manager — Presentation of the selection process, scholarship opportunities and the rich student life at the College of Europe Bruges campus;
• Presentation of the various possible career paths by our alumni:
